I’m Valeriia Kalmykova - pole, movement and confidence coach, and Miss Universe Canada 2025 delegate.
Over the past 10 years I built my body, presence, and inner stability from zero. Not by following trends, but by developing a system that connects movement, psychology, and embodied confidence.
What started as dance became a way to train how a woman carries herself, takes up space, and is perceived by the world.
Today, over 70,000 women follow my work, not because I teach choreography - but because I show how to build elegance, strength, and self-trust from the inside out.
Allure is the system I created from this path.
It is where movement becomes presence, and presence becomes confidence.
My Miss Universe Canada journey is about showing what is possible when a woman trains both her body and her inner state with precision and intention.

Behind the scenes of walk & interview practice
I never danced or did any sports before I turned 20. But deep down, I always dreamed of being a ballerina or a figure skater — sadly, there was nothing like that available in my small hometown growing up.
When I got older, pole dancing started becoming really popular sport in Ukraine, and I decided to try my first class. I fell in love with it instantly. 💫 It was one of the few sports you can start as an adult and still see real progress — physically and emotionally.
I kept training for years — it made me stronger, more confident, and helped me connect with my body in a new way. Eventually, I took instructor training and started teaching. Now I help other women discover their power and confidence too — and that’s the most rewarding part of it all 🫶🏻✨
I’ve been living in Canada for over five years now, and I’m so grateful for the opportunities this country has given me. This is my way to give back. I was especially inspired by the charity work tied to Miss Universe Canada, and I want to use this platform to speak up about intimate partner violence and mental health—two causes I care about deeply. I want to show other women that healing is possible, that they’re not alone, and that everything changes when you start believing in yourself.
More than anything, I want to grow and use this journey to inspire others. I’m already surrounded by an incredible community of women through my work, and this is a chance to lead with even more purpose and visibility. I want to walk away from this feeling like I’ve done something meaningful—not just for myself, but for every person watching.
Right now, I’m focused on organizing charity events, working with sponsors that align with my values, and staying consistent with my gym routine. I recently got new heels to practice my walk (which is both fun and challenging 😄), but the most important part of my prep is creating a vlog series to document the journey and hopefully inspire others to chase their own dreams.
Starting dance with no background was one of the biggest challenges. People doubted me—and I doubted myself at times too. But I turned those doubts into motivation. I built an entire career of a dance instructor of what used to be my biggest insecurity. Now, I help women all over the world do the same: step into their power and express themselves with confidence.
